- My passion for poetry began in my early twenties. My early poems were only a way to find my way. Began exploring new voices, many from the Americas, Europe and Asia. Read Eastern and Western philosophies. Wrote my next collection in my late twenties. Primarily interested in exploring. Finally decided to publish ‘Convergences and Divergences’. A few earlier poems came in anthologies, chapbooks, etc. Working on a new collection,’ Poems without a Country.’ Also working on a novel. Also, a first time slang lexicographer and independent researcher. Started in 2003. Have researched hundreds of books,sites, papers, magazines, film scripts, lyrics, etc, also many slang and conventional dictionaries such as OED, Partridge's dictionaries, and Jonathon Green's latest multi-volume dictionary of slang, etc. Over 5 centuries of slang from the Anglophone world and Hinglish. Hoping to make it one of the biggest dictionaries yet (No such thing as a complete slang dictionary).Also, online so it’ll be more accessible and affordable, fully researched and backed by authentic, early and current cites. The humming of the song
silently splits the seed of the sun
everything flirting to the rhythm of the
infinite
Time sparkles
on the eyelids of the lilies
silence falls to the ground without
breaking
Landscape plunges deep
In the moments
River pouring
Into the petrified hour
I close my eyes
See more rivers
Meet in her
Following the turns of her shape
Light blooms
Ripens in her
Falls from her fingers
Becomes her shadow
She flows
From no beginning
Beyond no end
The centre of origin
Everything is emptied and refilled
As I wander from river to river
Light to light
I disperse
And the night dissolves
Pours into the confluence
Et cetera

The day is suspended in shimmering light
Eternity’s pounding footsteps keep echoing
Through time
We are weights hung in its myriad clocks
Tick tock thinking
Dreams painting the world with impatient
Brushstrokes
The day puts its rays in the lock as
I stand in the middle of the room,
Barely visible.
Everything begins to break off its course
Pain and anguish,
The endless ground under the feet
The world sets its mouth to the soul,
Plays a note, free,
Full of silence
Shadows slip between waking and sleep,
Singing hymns to the bones of the dead
A song that springs to life, obliterates the heart of
That which is near
It takes the load off our fate
Outside, an anemic sun stands over the void
Silence ascends, takes root in the autumn wind.
Stones that we have thrown I hear
Falling through the years till
They reach the edges of our existence.
Brief moments of recognition
The broken arm of faith holding a begging bowl
The mouth of emptiness we feed with
Ambiguous faces.
Shoes that leave no tracks
Move through the eye of a needle.
A whole life that follows the blind banister into
The dark
A persistent humming rises and sinks
Happiness and suffering playing the same game
We see them borrow and bargain
We call it profit.
Everything grows indistinct and hard
Shadows motionless see past us
Suits sewn in solitude
Light flickers like the inside of an elevator
Space darkens, only a star
We see through a grating.
We hear the swelling sound of forgetfulness and
Proceed
Living often happens on a day like this…
